South Korea has proposed holding talks over the resumption of tour programs to the North Korean city of Kaesong and Mt. Kumgang resort on Feb. 8.
The unification ministry, responding to a proposal from the North, said it sent a message to Kim Yang-gon, director of the Central Committee of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party suggesting the talks be held on February 8 at the Kaesong Industrial Complex.
Earlier, North Korea's Asia Pacific Peace Committee proposed a meeting from Jan. 26 to 27 but Seoul reset the date.
Three delegates will likely be dispatched to the talks, they added. |
